Sono presenti anche abiti indossati da personaggi celebri e non mancano, per gli outfit d\u2019antan, preziose immagini tratte dalle riviste di moda che impartivano i diktat del buon gusto in tutto il Continente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il vestito da sposa, un mito che non perde il suo fascino nei secoli, si conferma cos\u00ec come l\u2019abito dei sogni di ogni donna, famosa e non, Jones (2011) e quello con soprabito in seta ricamata di Anna Valentine, corredato da un copricapo di Philip Treacy (2005), indossato da Camilla, duchessa di Cornovaglia, al braccio di Charles, erede al trono del Regno Unito; la tavola di moda con abito di Rudolph Ackermann (1816); gli scarpini &#8216;tango&#8217; in pelle e seta di Peter Robinson (1914); il vestito in seta e tulle di Pam Hogg (2012), quello di Temperley e poi quello sfoggiato dalla cantante\u00a0 Gwen Stefani, un modello bianco e rosa firmato John Galliano; ma a colpire ed impressionare pi\u00f9 di tutti \u00e8 forse lo splendido, ma inquietante abito da sposa viola-che-pi\u00f9-viola-non-si-pu\u00f2 della showgirl Dita von Teese, genere &#8216;Bird of Paradise&#8217;, disegnato da Vivienne Westwood (per il controverso matrimonio con Marilyn Manson), accompagnato da un ardito cappello a tricorno di Stephen Jones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si tratta di modelli unici\u00a0 &#8211; per lo pi\u00f9 concessi in prestito al Victoria &amp; Albert Museum da musei e privati \u2013 che raccontano efficacemente l\u2019expertise sartoriale celata in ognuno di essi, ma che celebrano soprattutto
