{"id":34488,"date":"2016-01-23T17:41:33","date_gmt":"2016-01-23T15:41:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imore.it\/rivista\/?p=34488"},"modified":"2016-12-17T11:29:14","modified_gmt":"2016-12-17T09:29:14","slug":"la-viscontessa-dello-stile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imore.it\/rivista\/la-viscontessa-dello-stile\/","title":{"rendered":"La Viscontessa dello stile"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_34490\" style=\"width: 223px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imore.it\/rivista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/02.Jacqueline-de-Ribes-by-Richard-Avedon-1962.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34490\" class=\" wp-image-34490 \" alt=\"Jacqueline de Ribes by Richard Avedon, 1962\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imore.it\/rivista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/02.Jacqueline-de-Ribes-by-Richard-Avedon-1962-237x300.jpg\" width=\"213\" height=\"270\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-34490\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jacqueline de Ribes in Yves Saint Laurent, 1962<br \/>Courtesy of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Photograph by Richard Avedon,<br \/>\u00a9The Richard Avedon Foundation<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\">Raramente il <strong>Costume Institute del Metropolitan Museum<\/strong> di New York dedica una mostra ad una sola persona (era capitato per Jackie Kennedy nel 2001, Iris Apfel nel 2005, Nan Kempner nel 2006).\u00a0Ora <strong>Harold Koda<\/strong>, curatore del Costume Institute, ha deciso di rendere omaggio a <strong>\u201c<\/strong><em><strong>Jacqueline de Ribes:The Art of Style\u201d<\/strong> (questo il titolo dell\u2019evento in programma sino al 21 Febbraio)<\/em>, motivando cos\u00ec la scelta: \u00abL\u2019approccio di de Ribes ai vestiti era una\u00a0sorta\u00a0di\u00a0affermazione di personalit\u00e0,\u00a0che pu\u00f2 essere vista come una specie di esibizione artistica\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A molti il suo nome non dir\u00e0 molto, ma la viscontessa parigina <strong>Jacqueline de Ribes<\/strong> \u00e8 stata (ed \u00e8, dato che \u00e8 viva e vegeta portando elegantemente i suoi 86 anni) una delle donne pi\u00f9 raffinate di sempre, una vera icona di stile del Novecento, un modello irraggiungibile di classe sia che indossasse capi <i>haute couture<\/i> sia che si lasciasse sedurre dal <i>ready-to-wear<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>In mostra al Met sono esposti\u00a060 abiti di alta moda &#8211; met\u00e0 disegnati da lei e met\u00e0 per lei da celebri stilisti come <strong>Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Pierre Balmain, Bill Blass, Roberto Cavalli, John Galliano, Madame Gr\u00e8s<\/strong> &#8211; oltre ad\u00a0alcune fotografie che la ritraggono, scattate da \u201cbig\u201d dell\u2019obiettivo (in primis\u00a0<strong>Richard Avedon<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Lo scrittore americano <strong>Truman Capote<\/strong> l\u2019aveva eletta tra i suoi \u201ccigni\u201d, cio\u00e8 le amiche dell\u2019<i>upper class <\/i>che si distinguevano per buon gusto e ricercatezza. Fu addirittura soprannominata<strong> \u201cil De Gaulle della moda\u201d<\/strong> per il forte temperamento e il fascino signorile, tanto che per lei si pu\u00f2 ben parlare di \u201cleggenda vivente\u201d dell\u2019alta societ\u00e0 internazionale. Dal 1962 compare regolarmente nell\u2019elenco delle donne meglio vestite al mondo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ma, oltre a \u201cbenvestire\u201d, Jacqueline de Ribes \u00e8 stata lei stessa designer, donna d\u2019affari, produttrice teatrale e cinematografica, ecologista e filantropa<em>. <\/em>Nel 1982 de Ribes lanci\u00f2 con successo a New York una\u00a0sua linea di abiti <i>pr\u00eat-\u00e0-porter<\/i> (tanto che Saks Fifth Avenue le offr\u00ec un contratto triennale), poi anche una collezione di gioielli, ed ebbe come clienti signore del calibro della baronessa von Thyssen, di Olympia e Marie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne de Rothschild. Donne che nascono con quel \u201cdi pi\u00f9\u201d di classe che ne fa un segno visivo.
